<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop still more reliable encryption and recording method in order to solve the problem that many measures which encipher data,etc. to store them from aspects, such as unnecessary spillover of the data or the information, etc., recorded on a recording medium, protection of copyrights have been proposed, however, since keys for performing encyption are recorded on the recording medium in conventional well-known methods, restoration of information is possible only by read data. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a method of performing dispersed recording of encryption key information in the recording medium and in a signal processing circuit as a fundamental method. The fundamental method includes a method of performing distributed recording using random number series, a method of performing random number development using unique information of the recording medium and the signal processing circuit, a method of performing distributed recording of alternative sector information, and a method of performing distributed recording of dummy sector information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
