<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management device and management method for entering/leaving a clean room capable of clarifying whether each worker is entering or leaving the room even when a plurality of workers enter/leave the same room, correctly conducting ID management of workers entering/leaving the room, conducting management of the number of workers to achieve security or limit the number of workers in the clean room, and clarifying the number of workers in the clean room or the like at the time of a disaster. <P>SOLUTION: In this management device and management method of entering/leaving a clean room, information of workers entering/leaving the clean room is sent from an ID recognizing device to a terminal installed at an air shower, and the information of workers entering/leaving the clean room sent to the terminal is then sent to a management server.
