PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal that can reduce the restoring work of communication troubles, and to provide a system and a method for avoiding the overlapping of identification information. SOLUTION: The system for avoiding the overlapping of identification information has an overlapping determination means which determines whether or not the identification information of the communication terminal overlaps that of the other communication terminal connected to the terminal through a network and an identification information changing means which changes the identification information of the communication terminal according to a prescribed changing rule. The changing means changes the identification information of the communication terminal when the overlapping discriminating means determines that the identification information of the terminal overlaps that of the the other communication terminal.
