PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which makes high-speed fixing possible, deals with the high-speed fixing, and excels in low-temperature fixability, high-temperature offset resistance, and low-temperature offset resistance, an image forming method, and an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The toner which contains at least a binder resin containing a polyester component and coloring matter and in which, the toner has a main peak in a region of a molecular weight 5,000 to 10,000 in a GPC (Gel Permeation Chromatography) chromatogram of a THF (Tetrahydrofurane) soluble component, and the ratio of the detection intensity of the molecular weight 50,000 to the detection intensity of the molecular weight 10,00 is 0.01 to 0.6, the ratio of the detection intensity of the molecular weight 100,000 to the detection intensity of the molecular weight 10,00 is 0.01 to 0.4 and the the ratio of the detection intensity of the molecular weight 1,000,000 to the detection intensity of the molecular weight 10,00 is 0.01 to 0.4 is used in the image forming method for fixing an unfixed toner image to a recording material by using a fixing means having a heating member on an inner side of a flexible metallic sleeve and having a pressurizing member disposed to be energized toward the heating member across the metallic sleeve.
