PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition capable of forming a transparent coating film having water repellency and durability resisting a long-term use; and to provide a coated body having the coating film formed by using the coating composition. SOLUTION: The coating composition comprises fine particles having the hydrophilic surface, a block polymer having a hydrophobic group and a hydrophilic group, an organic solvent and a component forming a transparent body when dissolved in the organic solvent and dried.
