PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminator in which there is scarcely any possibility of dust adhesion, damage or the incorporation with air bubbles. SOLUTION: The laminator 1 comprises a machine frame 2, a plate 11 fixed so as to coincide with a bus line 3 defined approximately at the center of the machine frame 2, a pasteboard carrying mechanism 28 for carrying an adhesive paper S as pasteboard, a workpiece introducing mechanism 30 for introducing a workpiece W into a precut film F, a film feeding mechanism 32 for feeding the precut film F to the adhesive paper S, a workpiece reversing mechanism 34 for reversing the upper and lower surfaces of the workpiece W, a press roller 12, and a control panel 18 for controlling a series of laminating operations or the like of the laminator 1. A substrate W is relatively moved to the press roller 12 and a folding position of the adhesive paper S to cover the substrate W with the precut film F up to the laminating finish region of the substrate W.
