Flooring strip (1) for bridging a joint between two floor coverings comprises a base profile rail (2) fixed on the floor (4) and having a floor arm (3) with two arms (5, 6) which are arranged a distance apart and extend upward perpendicularly from the floor arm. At least one connecting part (7) engaging between these arms is provided at its upper end with a hinged cover rail (8). The hinge is formed by an undercut groove (16) running in the head of the connecting part in the longitudinal direction of the flooring strip. The curvature of the groove extends over 180[deg] and receives a bar (18) of circular cross-section on the under side of the cover rail. Preferred Features: The connecting part has a U-shape that is open on the lower side and the groove is formed on the upper transverse bar (15). |
