PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing sintered ore is provided which not only reduces manufacturing cost of sintered ore but also improves strength of sintered ore by controlling magnesium oxide in sintered ore due to controlling of use of a subsidiary raw material serpentine, thereby changing the growth ratio of ore structure in sintered ore so as to improve strength of sintered ore. CONSTITUTION: In a method for manufacturing sintered ore by sintering a subsidiary raw material comprising iron ore, quartz sand and serpentine, and a fuel mixed blended raw material, the method is characterized in that a content of MgO in sintered ore is maintained to 1.49 to 0.85 wt.%, and a blending ratio of serpentine is maintained to 1.76 wt.% or less, wherein slag in the sintered ore is maintained to 17.15 to 16.32 wt.%, and a basicity is maintained to 1.76, and wherein a blending ratio of quartz sand in the blending raw materials is increased as a blending ratio of serpentine is maintained to 1.76 wt.% or less.
