An information display system for displaying a map which covering an area around a pre-registered point relevant to a date or a date and time, wherein the position of said pre-registered point on the map is readily and accurately identified just with operator's selection of said date or said date and time. The information display system, comprising: a map information storage in which map information is stored; an input device by which a designated point is inputted relevant to a date or a date and time; a schedule information storage unit in which the designated point is stored relevant to a date or a date and time; a display device on which a calendar (37) and a map are displayed; and a display control device by which a map covering a point relevant to a date or a date and time, which either selected from the calendar (37), is displayed on the display device. <IMAGE>
