An iron-enriched beverage comprising chalybeate containing iron and a lactoferrin, and at least one acidulant selected from acetic acid, gluconic acid and lactic acid and optionally a non-reducing glucide and/or a high intensity sweetener as a sweetener. The iron-enriched beverage has excellent flavor and taste quality and shows no generation of iron taste or precipitation during storage, so that it is desirable as an iron-enriched beverage.
