The odor or pollutant elimination method uses a signal from a sensor (1), detecting an odor or a pollutant in the outside air, for closing ventilation flaps (5) of a ventilation system for blocking the intake of outside air and an air quality signal from an air quality sensor (2,3) within the passenger compartment for opening the ventilation flaps, to allow intake of outside air when an odor or pollutant is detected within the passenger compartment (I). |
