The set for an artificial hip joint comprises a connector element (1) with a base plate (11) and at least one insert member (12) for attachment to the ilium zone of the remaining pelvis, a joint ball (2) and a socket (3) with an adapter (4). The latter is attached to the pole zone of the socket and serves for producing a durable but releasable joint with a femur shank endoprosthesis.
