A diluted soluble oil filter comprises a filter container (2), a lid (3) and a filter insert (6) arranged in the flow branch between a inlet (4) and an outlet (5) to remove solids from the liquid. The lid has a carrying handle (7) for transporting the filter and for connecting to a self-cleaning unit. An Independent claim is also included for self-cleaning of a transportable diluted soluble oil filter.
