The device has the insulated electrical line fed along a given movement path (6,6') between an entry point (E,E') and an exit point (A), provided with a first guide element (1,1'), for preventing inherent rotation of the insulated electrical line about its longitudinal axis and a second guide element (3), rotated at an angle to the movement path, for rotation of the insulated electrical line about its longitudinal axis. An Independent claim for a method for twisting an elongate product is also included.
