A door or window two-part hinge (10) has a first moving section (2) which engages with a fixed part (11). The hinge incorporates a cam (20) which deflects (V) the moving part (2) with respect to the fixed part (11). The fixed part is secured to a profile in the vicinity of the hinge line. The cam axis of rotation (S) is transverse to the direction of deflection (V).
