<p>The present invention comprises a device for use in an automatic dishwasher. The device comprises a body having a water inlet and a water outlet. An amount of a hydrophobic, oleophilic material is disposed within the body. The hydrophobic, oleophilic material displays a contact angle of greater than 70 degrees with an aqueous solution and a contact angle of less than 90 degrees with an oil based composition. The composition may be open-cell polyurethane foam, kapok, milk-weed floss, CF3-functionised silica or exfoliated graphite. The use of the composition in automatic dishwashing is also claimed.</p> |
