An industrial truck with control operating, display and sensor devices for propulsion, steering, lifting, braking etc. has communication between the operating and control devices performed via an in-vehicle bus system connected to a central computer which has a multitasking operating system and a vibration-free data memory. The operation and display functions are amalgamated in a central operation and display unit within the driver' range of vison with the operation and display functions subdivided into appropriate groups such as for the travel mode, the lift and lower modes, etc., and invoked each according to needs in the operation and display unit. The display unit may includes a graphics screen which may be a touch screen. The system may include wireless communication with external monitoring and control devices. |
