摘要 PURPOSE: A field effect electron emission device is provided to allow for ease of manufacture and accurate matching of front and rear substrates, by forming a spacer into two sections. CONSTITUTION: A field effect electron emission device comprises a rear substrate(11) on which a gate(14) of stripe pattern crossing a cathode(12) is formed; a front substrate(17) on which an anode(16) of stripe pattern crossing the cathode is formed; and a spacer(18) for separating the front substrate and the rear substrate at a predetermined gap. The spacer includes a first spacer(18') formed on the rear substrate and between the gates, and protruded into a predetermined height in a direction parallel to the cathode; and a second spacer(18'') formed on the front substrate and protruded into a predetermined height in a direction parallel to the anode. The first spacer and the second spacer are arranged to be orthogonal with each other into + shape.
