PURPOSE: A time sharing type multi buffer apparatus is provided to enable each port to access a shared memory continuously in a time sharing method. CONSTITUTION: According to the time sharing type multi buffer apparatus, an address buffer(80) buffers addresses in response to a system clock signal. An address selection unit(82) outputs the addresses being output from the address buffer in response to the first selection signal. An address decoding unit(84) decodes the address selected by the address selection unit, and outputs the decoded address as an address of a shared memory(86). Data input/output buffers(120-122,124-126) input or output data in response to the system clock signal. A data selection unit(92) outputs data inputted from the data input/output buffers to the shared memory in response to the second selection signal. A data output division unit(94) divides the data read from the shared memory to the data input/output buffers. A multiplication unit(96) multiplies the system clock signal. A port selection unit(98) outputs the first selection signal in response to the multiplied system clock signal. And a delay unit(100) delays the first selection signal and then outputs it as the second selection signal.
