PURPOSE: A filter for a vacuum cleaner is provided to improve the suction efficiency of the vacuum cleaner by increasing the surface area of a filter paper. CONSTITUTION: In a filter(200) for a vacuum cleaner, a filter body(210) includes a front surface(211) having a through hole(211a), a lower surface extended from the lower part of the front surface and having an opening, both side surfaces(213,214) extended from both sides of the front surface and having openings(213a,214a), a rear surface(215) extended from the lower surface and the side surface and having an opening(215a), and an upper opening(216). A porous filter paper(220) stops the openings, and is wrinkled. A cover(230) is detachably installed at the upper opening. The wrinkled surfaces of the filter paper are overlapped each other.
