HOME ROBOT USING SUPER COMPUTER AND HOME NETWORK SYSTEM HAVING THE ROBOT

PURPOSE: A home robot using a super computer and a home network system having the robot are provided to minimize the processing of the robot, and reduce the manufacturing cost of the robot. CONSTITUTION: A home robot(40) using a super computer is composed of a microphone(48) receiving an audio signal, an A/D converter(43) for converting the audio signal into a digital signal, a wireless communication unit(41) transmitting/receiving the digital signal to/from the super computer through a home gateway, a D/A converter(44) for converting the received digital signal into the audio signal, a speaker(47), a control unit(42), and a driving unit(45) for moving a robot body according to a motion control signal of the control unit. The control unit generates the motion control signal according to the signal received from the super computer.
