PURPOSE: A noise reducing device for a scroll compressor is provided to improve the compression efficiency through line contact and point contact between a check valve and a guide path, and reduce a noise through line contact between the check valve and a discharge port. CONSTITUTION: A check valve assembly(140) has a check valve(142) guided in association with a guide path(141a) of a valve housing(141) to be slid, and opened and shut by contacting with a discharge port(23). The check valve is formed in ball shape. The guide path is tapered to form a slant section so that the check valve contacts with the guide path through line and point when the check valve moves upward and downward. The check valve contacts with an upper end part of the discharge port through line.
