PURPOSE: A flash memory controller is provided to selectively enable one memory chip via a decode chip so that a user freely selects a flash memory having various capacities. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises plural flash memories(20, 30), a CPU(10), and a decode logic(40). The flash memories(20, 30) have a layer structure. The CPU(10) outputs a signal for selecting one among the flash memories(20, 30), and a signal for enabling the selected flash memory. The decode logic(40) logically combines the signals output by the CPU(10), and selectively memory chips embedded in each flash memory(20, 30).
