PURPOSE: A connector and a method for fabricating the connector are provided to minimize the pitch between adjacent terminals. CONSTITUTION: A connector(100) includes a plurality of terminals(120) and an insulating housing(150) for fixing and supporting the terminals while insulating the terminals from one another. The terminals are female terminals and have accommodation parts(124b) connected to male terminals and parts(126) mounted on a printed circuit board. The accommodation parts are exposed from the front part of the connector, and the mounted parts are exposed from the back of the connector. The housing is composed of a plurality of insulating plates(160). All the insulating plates other than the uppermost insulating plate(160') include terminal accommodation holes(162) for accommodating the terminals. |
