PURPOSE: An apparatus for combining substrates of a liquid crystal display is provided to minimize warping of stages. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for combining substrates of a liquid crystal display includes a base frame(100), upper and lower chamber units(210,220), upper and lower stages(230,240), a plurality of elastic members, and a sealing member. The base frame forms the external shape of the apparatus. The upper chamber unit includes an upper base(211) and an upper chamber plate(212). The upper stage is fixed to a space formed in the upper chamber plate. The lower chamber unit includes a lower base(221) and a lower chamber plate(222). The lower stage is included in a space formed in the lower chamber plate. At least one support(225) is included between the lower base and the lower chamber plate. The upper and lower stages fix a pair of substrates and respectively include adsorption plates(231,241) and fixed plates(232,242). |
