PURPOSE: An electron gun is provided to reduce a distribution of a quality by guiding an electron beam and to prevent a modification of a final anode in case of beading process by forming a board shape guide inner electrode. CONSTITUTION: An electron gun for a cathode ray tube comprises a cathode(10) radiating an electron beam toward a fluorescent substance screen, a plurality of electrode spaced apart from the cathode and having successively a control electrode, an acceleration electrode, a focusing electrode(14) and an anode(15), and a shield cup(16) as a shielding electrode for shielding a leakage magnetic field of a deflection yoke among the plurality of electrode. The focusing electrode comprises a cup electrode(14-1) and a cap electrode(14-3), and the anode comprises a cup electrode(15-1). A first guide inner electrode(15-3) of a board shape is formed between the shield cup and the anode. A guide inner electrode(14-2) of a board shape is formed between the cup electrode and the cap electrode of the focusing electrode.
