<p>PURPOSE:To provide a recorder easily implementing video recording of a broadcast program through timer reservation without provision of a tuner or a timer. CONSTITUTION:A 1st recorder without a timer video recording function is provided with a means 4 detecting the presence of an input signal and a means 3 controlling the recording so as to be stopped when no input signal is received and to be made when the input signal is received. The 1st recorder detects the connection between an input signal terminal 8 of the 1st recorder and an output terminal of a 2nd recorder (not shown) having a timer video recording function while the 2nd recorder is set to the video recording mode and provides an output and the 1st recorder implements timer video recording.</p> |
