PURPOSE: A nylon cord for a tire reinforcing belt cord has excellent modulus, strength and glass transition temperature. A tire reinforced by the nylon cord is characterized by having excellent high-speed running durability and control stability. CONSTITUTION: A nylon cord for a tire reinforcing belt cord is characterized by containing 0.1-4.0pts.wt. of nano-clay modified into nylon based on 100pts.wt. of the nylon. The nano-clay is added in polymerizing the nylon cord or spinning. The nylon is selected from nylon 6, nylon 66 and nylon 46. The nylon cord is used as a reinforcing belt cord of an aerated tire for a car.
