FUEL CELL AND CURRENT GENERATOR CONTAINING FUEL CELL

摘要

PURPOSE: A fuel cell and a current generator containing the fuel cell are provided to provide a portable compact power source not using a separator and not having an auxiliary instrument like a fluid supply instrument and a portable electronic machine using the power source. CONSTITUTION: The fuel cell is a hollow support structure(1) in which a material containing a liquid fuel is placed and has a current generating part placing an anode(3) oxidizing the liquid fuel, an electrolyte membrane(2) insulating the anode(3) and a cathode(4), and the cathode(4) reducing oxygen on the outer circumference of the hollow support(1). And the current generator contains a fuel cell unit connecting a plurality of the fuel cells having the current generating parts and a container storing the liquid fuel, wherein the current generating parts are connected electrically and the liquid fuel is supplied to the inside of the hollow support structure(1) from the container to generate electric current.
