PURPOSE: A jump-out preventing device is provided to prevent jump-out by absorbing shock or vibration applied from a transmission to normal shock-absorbing ratio after shifting and to prevent the reduction of shift quality caused by unavailable stroke by transmitting operating force of a shift lever to a select lever of the transmission without the unavailable stroke by reducing the shock-absorbing ratio of a damper. CONSTITUTION: A jump-out preventing device is composed of a damper(1) comprising a front cylinder(10) installed to the end of a front bar for a shift lever of a select bar and a rear cylinder(11) installed to the front end of a rear bar connected to the select lever in a transmission and combined to the front cylinder to relatively move to each other with forming a pneumatic chamber in the front cylinder; a shift sensor for sensing shift motions of the shift lever; and an air injecting valve(3) for increasing the pressure of the pneumatic chamber by injecting the air forcibly transferred from an air supply source(5) into the pneumatic chamber after opening a supply line to a signal of the shift sensor at an air injecting line(4) connected to the pneumatic chamber.
