PURPOSE: A reception mode switching method with respect to a specific caller and a mobile communication terminal implementing the same are provided to allow a user not to receive an undesired call from a person by registering a phone number of the person in a reception-unacceptable list. CONSTITUTION: When a ring signal is received, a mobile terminal detects the ring signal(S300). A CID(Caller ID) detector checks whether a CID is included in the ring signal(S310). If the ring signal includes the CID, the mobile terminal checks whether a phone number of a caller of the CID is on a reception-unacceptable list stored in a memory unit(S320). If the phone number is on the reception-unacceptable list, The mobile terminal is switched to an automatic response mode and transmits a message previously set in the automatic response mode(S330). The mobile terminal checks whether certain time has elapsed(S340). If certain time has elapsed, the mobile terminal releases the automatic response mode and is switched to a general reception mode(S350).
