PURPOSE: A water draining device of an air tank is provided to automatically remove water generated in the air tank, reduce the labor cost, increase braking performance, and improve the quality and reliability of products. CONSTITUTION: A water draining device for draining water generated in an air tank(T) for supplying the air or pneumatic pressure to various devices of a vehicle is composed of a cylindrical fixing pipe(10) detachably fixed to an opening unit(O) formed in the center of the air tank to communicate with the inner part of the air tank; a body(30) alternatively fixed to the lower outside of the fixing pipe and formed with a supporting unit(32) including a circular through-groove(32a) in the center; a diaphragm(36) operated up and down to the change of pressure in the air tank and mounted to the through-groove to discharge the water in the air tank; an exhaust valve(40) connected to the diaphragm and supported by a valve guide(42) detached to the periphery of the supporting unit of the body to operations of the diaphragm to regulate the drain of the water; and a cover(50) alternatively fixed to the body to collect and drain the water drained through the periphery of the valve guide.
