4TH GENERATION MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL PROTOCOL AND TERMINAL FOR SUPPLYING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A 4th generation mobile communication terminal protocol and a terminal for supplying the same are provided to receive a new wireless communication technology to give a high speed multimedia with a high QoS. CONSTITUTION: A 4th generation mobile communication terminal protocol structure includes a physical layer(210), an adaptive layer(220), a data link control layer(230), a junction layer(250), a network layer(260) and an application layer(270). The physical layer(210) adopts various wireless access, a coding and modulation. The adaptive layer(220) is placed on the top of the physical layer(210) to secure the independent operation for the various technical methods. The data link control layer(230) simplifies the signaling process by unifying the wireless source management function. The junction layer(250) is placed on the top of the data link control layer(230) to secure the operation of the wireless protocol independent of the change of the connected core network of the terminal. The network layer(260) is placed on the top of the junction layer(250) to receive the network protocol used for various core networks. And, the application layer(270) is placed on the network layer(260) to support a new application.
