The electronic fund collection uses computer terminals (8,9) to allow donors to enter payment information which is transmitted over the Internet (1) to a payment server (3). Upon payment, a part of a real or imaginary sporting event is delivered (2,4) over the Internet to the donors, and as donations are received, more of the event is delivered to donors, encouraging further donations.
