<p>The inventors have developed a unique process for producing alcoholic spirits. This process uses ice for the dilution of a rectified spirit at a reduced temperature. This is followed by a low temperature filtration for further removal of undesirable impurities. The resultant alcoholic spirit has been found to be very smooth and clean in taste.</p>
