A first transfer mechanism (13) of a biaxial stretch blow- forming apparatus (1) has sliders (45) that are transported along a circular transportation passage (12). The sliders (45) slide along a circular guide rail (44) installed on a turntable (43). Each of the sliders (45) is swung to left and right by a swing arm (49) as the turntable (43) rotates, and a feed pitch of a preform holding groove (46a) formed in a holding plate (46) installed at an end of each of the sliders is changed. The feed pitch can be changed by a simple mechanism. Because the holding groove (46a) always faces a radial direction, receiving and handing over actions of a preform (2) sent along th e circular transportation passage can be reliably performed.
