The invention concerns a heat exchanger module comprising a plurality of stacked plates (2) each provided with a peripheral edge (3), wherein the peripheral edges (3) are sealingly assembled to determine between the plates fluid flow circuits. The stacked plates are divided into at least two heat-exchanging sections (6, 8) by a separating partition (4), each section including first flow channels for a first fluid (F1, F3) which alternate with second flow channels for a second fluid, said separating partition being designed to prevent said fluids from passing from one section to the other or to allow only one of said fluids to pass from one section to the other. The heat-exchanging sections may be independent to provide separate exchangers. They may communicate between them so as to provide a multistage exchanger. The invention is applicable to motor vehicles.
