Television receiver arrangement has a television receiver (2) and a media unit (8) that is connected to the receiver via an audio and video interface. The receiver and median units also have an interactive control interface (18) with which they are connected to each other. The interface permits control of the television by the media unit or control of the media unit via the television remote control (3). The invention also relates to corresponding media and television receiver units.
