METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PRODUCTS BY MEANS OF DEFORMATION AT INCREASED TEMPERATURES

The aim of the invention is to create a method which allows products to be manufactured in a simple and inexpensive manner by means of thermal deformation while preventing the risk of excessive tension being generated even during complex shaping of high-strength material. Said aim is achieved by heating the blank metal sheet to a deformation temperature ranging between a minimum of 200 DEG C and a maximum of 700 DEG C, deforming the blank metal sheet which has been heated to the deformation temperature so as to obtain the product, and cooling the product in an uncontrolled manner to ambient temperature. The properties of the material of which the blank metal sheet is made and the deformation temperature are adapted to each other in such a way that at least one characteristic value of the mechanical properties of the resulting product remains at least the same as the corresponding characteristic value of the blank metal sheet, said characteristic value of the finished product being particularly better than that of the blank metal sheet.
