A locking device for parasols which includes a cylindrical main sleeve (1) with a wide rigid top (2), below which is a threaded section (3), and tapered end (4), over which is screwed a constricting sleeve (6) that has a male thread (7) and sloping inner base (8). A reducing sleeve (9) may be inserted into the main sleeve (1).
