The invention relates to an /= device which can be used for devices displaying wide-screen images (16:9), for liquid crystal and plasma TV sets, screens and displays. The inventive device for simultaneously displaying two images comprises a screen embodied in such a way that it can be vertically arranged (the long sides of the screen are vertically oriented), the two images of a size of 3:4 being arranged in the top and low sections of the screen. Said invention makes it possible to better use the surface of the screen and increase the size of the images when they are watched simultaneously.
