PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for the exterior of electronic equipment arranged in such a manner that different kinds of products can be manufactured by manufacturing different kinds of the exteriors and imparting different kinds of the exteriors to common cabinets and that the need for storing different useless inventories is eliminated by rationalizing manufacturing processes. SOLUTION: In the exterior case of the electronic equipment 10, an exterior is structured by previously forming the main body with a cabinet 11 before exterior decoration and by attaching sheet-like dresses 31 of different shapes to the cabinet 11. Model names 37, decorative prints, etc. are printed and coated on the rear surface of the transparent sheet-like dresses 31 to provide a sense of high quality and to obviate the occurrence of peeling, etc., during its use. As a result, though the exterior of the electronic equipment is conventionally needed to separately make the cabinets changed in the contents of printing depending upon the destinations of the whole world respectively, there is no such need any more.
