PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the coupling cost of a gas pipe to a gas pipe, in a seal structure of the gas pipe to seal the fitting part of gas pipes that are fit to be turnable by a fire-resistant seal member. SOLUTION: A metal sealing member 6 is provided between the first face 15 of a gas pipe 1 and the second face 25 of a coupling (gas pipe) 2. Both end faces of the seal member 6 are formed as a plane which crosses orthogonally with its axis line. The first annular contact member 17 is formed on the inner circumference side of the first face 15. The second contact part 28 is formed on the outer circumference side of the second face 25. This second contact part 28 is arranged more on the side of the first face 15 than on the first contact part 17. Hereby, this first and second contact parts are brought into press contact with each other by pressing the right end face with the left end face of the seal member 6 in the condition that the seal member 6 is transformed elastically toward the axis line.
