PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasifier of a solid biomass fuel automating proper control such as charging of a fuel, dropping of ash or discharging thereof and thereby maintaining stable power generation output. SOLUTION: For example, an introducing means for the fuel is provided with a constant rate feeder 102 for the fuel having an upper shutter 103, a lower shutter 104 and a fuel level gauge 113, a driving means for each shutter and a fuel introduction controller 115. Furthermore, the fuel introduction controller has a control function to close the lower shutter, open the upper shutter, fill the upper space of the lower shutter of the constant rate feeder, stop the filling of the fuel based on detected values of the fuel level gauge, then close the upper shutter and open the lower shutter based on a prescribed fuel charging signal for charging the filled fuel into the gas producer body 1.
