PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional anti-skid device of metallic chain type for a two-wheeled vehicle wherein steering stability is bad, a sideslip is likely to occur when tilting for turn, thereby causing danger, it is difficult to let it agree with dimension of a thin tire of the two-wheeled vehicle, it interferes with a peripheral part, thereby causing damage of the vehicle, a work place and much time are required when mounting it, force is concentrated on an extremely small ground contact surface during running which is peculiar to the two-wheeled vehicle, thereby cutting a chain easily due to wear and metallic fatigue and causing danger, service life of a product is short, and it is uneconomical. SOLUTION: A spike pin is arranged in an anti-skid body formed by an elastic material having excellent resistance to wear and a reinforcing material having high tensile strength and small elongation rate and is fixed by a side bundle binding plate. Consequently, stable and satisfactory steering performance can be realized in running on a road surface in winter which changes in various manners by corresponding to behavior and stress peculiar to the two-wheeled vehicle. Anyone can perform mounting work simply in a short time. It is possible to provide the safe and economical anti-skid device for the two-wheeled vehicle. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
