PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assist parking by a simple method, and to properly provide useful information relative to parking such as Tandem parking or garaging. SOLUTION: There is provided a steering sensor 2 detecting a steering angle. A predicted traveling route of a vehicle in the time of parking is obtained according to the angle from the sensor 2, and the route in which right and left front edges are connected is superimposed on a rear picture and displayed on a display 13.
