PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize lamination by a printer by suppressing increase of the whole size of the printer or the cost thereof. SOLUTION: This printer preferably includes a corona wire 312 substantially just near a photosensitive drum 320. A laser scanning unit 314, a developing cylinder 316, a toner supply mechanism 318, and a transferring roller cylinder 322 are provided to a portion in the vicinity of the photosensitive drum 320. Some of the above components are provided in a printing medium conveyance path 324 or along it. A laminate adhering device 332 and a laminate transferring roller 323 are provided to a portion at the just rear of the transferring roller cylinder 322 along a direction of the conveyance path 324. The printing medium conveyance path 324 is extended to a fixing mechanism 311 at the rear of the laminate transferring roller 323. A controller 308 is connected to the laser scanning unit 314, the photosensitive drum 320 and the fixing mechanism 311 so as to communicate therewith as shown in the figure. The controller 308 controls operations of the laser scanning unit 314, the photosensitive drum 320, and the fixing mechanism 311 over the whole invented operations. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
