PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preparing portrait suitable for transmitting feelings by using a portrait through a portable telephone. SOLUTION: This device for preparing portrait from the featured points of the respective face parts of eyebrows, eyes, nose, mouth, ears and face outline and the image of a hair style is provided with a wrinkle describing means for describing wrinkles corresponding to specific feelings at the time of plotting expressions showing specific feelings and a winkle plotting means for plotting the described wrinkles in a portrait to be prepared. Also, this preparing device may be provided with a wrinkle describing means for describing wrinkles corresponding to the specific feelings based on an expressionless portrait at the time of plotting expressions showing the specific feelings and a wrinkle plotting means for plotting the described wrinkles in the expressionless portrait.
