摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device by an inkjet method by which spacers are separately and independently placed on the specified regions of a substrate by jetting a spacer dispersion liquid at the specified regions of the substrate surface from a nozzle of an inkjet device so as not to deteriorate the liquid crystal display performance such as contrast due to flocculation of the spacers. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device, which consists of jetting the spacer dispersion liquid at the specified regions of the substrate surface from the nozzle of the inkjet device and placing the spacers on the specified regions of the substrate, a solvent with 200°C or lower boiling point and 5°or less contact angle with respect to the substrate is used as a dispersion medium used for the spacer dispersion liquid and a distance S between adjacent points of discharging the spacer dispersion liquid is set to satisfy a specified condition.
