PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably perform feeding of a sheet material S even when a bottom plate which is installed on an end fence main body and on which the sheet material S is laid is rotated upward. SOLUTION: An end fence includes a pressing element 23 provided in the end fence main body 21, a biasing means 24 biasing the pressing element 23 in a direction in which the sheet material moves forward in the sheet material feeding direction, and a bias force switching device 25 switching between a biasing condition in which a bias force of the biasing means 24 is exerted on the pressing element 23 and a non-biasing condition in which the bias force is not exerted on the pressing element. The end fence main body 21 can be surely moved to a proper position corresponding to the size of the sheet material by switching the bias force switching device 25 into the non-biasing condition, moving the end fence main body 21, and bringing the end fence main body 21 into contact with a rear end portion of the sheet material in the sheet material feeding direction, so that the feeding of the sheet material using the pressing element 23 can be stably performed even when the bottom plate on which the sheet material is laid is rotated upward.
